But 40 years of memories will be endless, treasured forever and remembered and enjoyed in the sad days ahead. My best decision ever was to ask you to marry me, my 2nd best decision was to ask again after you quite sensibly said "No". But I know that 38 years later I am a better person and I have a lovely family because, in a moment of weakness, you changed your mind and said "oh all right then" .
